In-Person Hybrid Approach

November 07, 20253 min read

A convenient and effective approach to reach your goals:

There are so many programs out there, but we at Fitness Integrated Science   are focused on the health of your muscles.  The motivation, education, and exercise instruction you see in our programs result of 40+ years of study in Yoga, exercise mechanics, muscle anatomy, and resistance training. Our FIS TV On-Demand Program has been a game changer! Some of our clients also see us in-person for Personal Training, Yoga, Pilates, and Muscle Activation Techniques. Lauren and the trainers use FIS TV to enhance their experience and give them homework to practice. It saves on travel time and cost, plus gives us an ability to communicate more often throughout the week. FIS TV members are emailed a comprehensive Fitness and Wellness Coaching Guide every week, plus exercise tips throughout the week.

An Online | In-Person Hybrid Approach to Exercise with FIS TV

Depending on your needs, level of experience, and goals, here are some ways to make FIS TV work for you. Make sure to check out the link for FIS TV On-Demand, the In-Person Services, and the FAQ section.

1. Beginner / Novice
I always suggest a logical progression.  If you are not exercising regularly, pick 2-3 workouts a week, anywhere from 15-30 minutes.  Use moderate resistance or just bodyweight.  The Isometric Boost section or "C.P.I." section in "Prepare" would be appropriate!  Use the 7-Day Fitness Plan as a guide for suggested workouts for a balanced approach, but do not try to work out every day!  The Barre workouts, strength, and 5-day challenges are typically harder, FYI.

2.  Already have a trainer or in-person coach
FIS TV can be used as an adjunct to your training, If you want to focus on an area you need, such as Yoga, isometrics, or resistance training, choose specific workouts in the search to supplement what you are doing in-person.  Most people can only afford to use trainers 1-3 times a week, so this app can help you get better results by allowing you to workout on other days! It is especially good if you are traveling or if your schedule gets busy, since you can pop in a video any time you want!

3.  You are working on an injury or rehab with a physical therapist or doctor.
This app is highly applicable to maintaining joint health and rehabilitation.  You will recover faster and get better results in your therapy sessions.  You can type in any injury or condition and videos will come up.  Muscle strength is a huge piece of pain management and injury prevention.  If you find that a specific video works well with your condition, save it in your favorites as a SOS workout to manage your pain!

4.  You are working with a Muscle Activation Techniques Specialist
These videos are tailor-made to compliment MAT!  I assign them to my in-person clients every day.  You will retain your results from MAT and be able to progress through the body more efficiently with FIS TV.  I created this methodology specifically for this over the years as an MAT and as a way to take care of myself.  Now I am sharing this with you!  Type in a joint action such as "hip flexion" or "patten one" or a condition like "core strength" and you will get lots of video suggestions.  Several of my fellow MAT Specialists use this app with their patients, and they may want to give you specific ones.

5.  You are using this entirely for your fitness plan
Bravo!  I suggest that you keep up with the 7-Day Fitness Plan.  This is balanced just for you.  If you do not like what I suggest, see what area we are working on and find another one.  You have at least 2 -3 options each day to try, depending on your schedule.  Save the videos that you like in your favorites so that you can get to them faster.
